Compliance & Transparency
Florida local government financial reporting compliance.
Florida local governments are required to submit Annual Financial Reports (AFRs) to the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) pursuant to Section 218.32, F.S. Entities are considered non-compliant if their AFR or audit is received more than 9 months after their fiscal year end, or more than 45 days after their audit completion date.
BenchmarkUSA tracks filing compliance based on data published through the DFS LOGERx portal.
